On August 4, 2018, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were conducting follow up investigations on information from the Aggravated Robberies of the Walgreens Pharmacies that occurred on August 3rd and August 4th.  Deputies were following up on a lead of the Walgreens Pharmacy robberies, when they entered The Imperial Chase Apartments located at, 25510 Brookhaven, Spring, TX.  While in the apartment complex, Deputies discovered a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle from the robberies.  Deputies, approached the registered owner’s apartment and spoke with a female.  During the interview with the female, Deputies noted the female was very nervous and evasive.  As the Deputies continued their investigation, they discovered that a (B/M) identified as Ronald Jackson DOB 10-09-74, was laying on the living room floor.  Deputies immediately recognized Mr. Jackson as the suspect seen in surveillance video robbing both Walgreens Pharmacies.   Deputies secured a search warrant for the residence and recovered evidence linked to the robberies, including medications that were stolen from the Walgreens Pharmacies. Ronald Jackson was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery and was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail.  Sheriff Rand Henderson responds-“I am very proud of the great display of team work and police work done by our deputies.  Their persistence and dedication led to a swift arrest of this dangerous individual.”

Suspect Robs two Walgreens in South Montgomery County
 
On August 3, 2018, the pictured suspect robbed the Walgreens at 485 Sawdust Road, Spring, TX and then again on August 4, 2018, the same suspect robbed the Walgreens located at 560 Rayford Road, Spring, TX.
 
In both criminal offenses, the suspect, an unidentified (B/M) went into the pharmacy and passed a note to pharmacy personnel demanding specific controlled substance drugs.  The suspect advised he had a gun, but never displayed the gun.  Once the suspect received the controlled substances he left the store in a small red passenger car. The suspect is described as a black male about 5’8”5’10”, stocky build in his early to mid-30’s.  The suspect was last seen wearing dark gray shorts, dark jeans and a dark backwards baseball cap.  According to witness information, the suspect’s upper right lip appeared to be abnormally swollen.   The suspect vehicle is believed to be a burgundy/red 4-door Toyota Scion.
