FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 8, 2018

Richmond, Texas

In the early morning hours of June 8, 2018, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a call in regards to a shooting at Churchills Bar on West Airport Blvd.

A bar patron was at the bar because his motorcycle club meets at the bar on Thursdays. While at the patio area, the patron was involved in a conversation with two other patrons who are not in their party. The conversation took a unfriendly turn when a party of the two other patrons stated they were part of another motorcycle club.

One patron then threatened the other patron with a knife and both parties took out firearms and were involved in a shootout in the parking lot of the bar.

One party was hit on the foot and the other was hit on his abdomen. Both were transported to hospitals for treatment.

There have been no arrests at this time. This investigation is ongoing.
