Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence in the 1300 block of E Houston St at 11:35 A.M. on March 13, 2018 where it was reported that someone had entered the residence and stolen a television while the complainant was away from the residence. The investigation is ongoing.
 
Paris Police responded to a disturbance at 1:46 A.M. on March 14, 2018 in the 1100 block of SE 17th St. It was reported that during an argument , Dwight Earl Dangerfield had chased a family member and attempted to stab him with a knife. Dangerfield was arrested and charged with aggravated assault of a family or household member with a deadly weapon. He was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail. (due to Dangerfield being uncooperative during the booking process, no photograph can be sent at this time)
