 On 03-03-2018 at 8:01 A.M. Officers responded to the 400 block of Grand Ave in regards to a disturbance. Officers were told that Quentin Ewing (34 YOA male) had choked and held a knife to the throat of the complainant. Officers made contact with Ewing who was placed under arrest for aggravated assault.

 
 On 03-03-2018 at 2:04 P.M. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 3100 of NE Loop 286 and made contact with a male subject who provided a ficticious name. It was determined that the man was actually Shannon Miller (32 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance out of Bee County. Miller was placed under arrest and charged with the warrant as well as a misdemeanor charge.   

 
 On 03-03-2018 at 3:54 P.M. Officers responded to the 3700 block of Clarksville in regards to an assault complaint. Officers were told Jerrod Mayberry (30 YOA male) had assaulted the complainant and had placed the complainant in a headlock which impeded the complainant’s breath. Mayberry was placed under arrest for assault family/household member impeding breath and a misdemeanor charge.  

 
 On 03-03-2018 at 5:23 P.M. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of SE 24th and made contact with Sarina McCutcheon (24 YOA female) and male subject who provided a ficticious name. McCutcheon and the male were found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and were placed under arrest. The male subject later revealed his true identity to be Landon Sain (33 YOA male). Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance and Sain was charged with two other misdemeanor charges.   

 
 On 03-03-2018 at 5:38 P.M. Officers responded to the 3000 block of Abbott Lane in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Steven Fletcher (52 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding warrant for theft of property $2500-$30k out of Tarrant County. Fletcher was placed under arrest for the warrant.   

 On 03-04-2018 at 1:59 P.M. Officers responded to the 700 block of Bonham in regards to an assault that was said to have occurred in the 500 block of Bonham. Officers were told that a known suspect was said to have attempted to cut the complainant with a knife and that a second known suspect had struck the complainant with a club during an altercation. The complainant was said to have received minor injuries as a result of the incident. Officers were also told that a second victim had received an apparent superficial cut while trying to break up the fight. The suspects fled prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.  

 On 03-05-2018 at 1:52 A.M. Officers responded to the 3300 block of Lamar Ave in regards to a burglar alarm. Officers arrived and found that an unknown suspect had forced entry into the building and took a small amount of cash and medications from the building. The investigation is ongoing. 
 Paris Police responded to 323 calls for service and arrested 27 persons over the three day weekend ending at 6:00 A.M. on March 5, 2018.
