On 01-12-2018 at 3:10 P.M. Officers responded to the 500 block of E Polk in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Jessica Briggle (28 YOA female) who was found to have an outstanding warrant for motion to revoke probation. Briggle was placed under arrest for the warrant.


On 01-12-2018 at 4:05 P.M. Officers responded to the 1500 block of NE 13th in regards to a public intoxication complaint. Officers made contact with Anterion Bailey (22 YOA male) who was placed under arrest for a misdemeanor offense. Bailey was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana inside the jail. Bailey was charged with possession of an illegal substance inside a correctional facility, possession of a controlled substance, and two misdemeanor charges.


On 01-13-2018 at 9:56 P.M. Officers made contact with Randle Garess (56 YOA male) in the 200 block of Clarksville as a result of a traffic stop. Garess was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance.


On 01-14-2018 at 6:13 P.M. Officers responded to a warrant arrest in the 3800 block of Lamar Ave. Officers made contact with Camey Wootton (36 YOA female) who was found to have an outstanding warrant for sex abuse of a child continuous victim under 14 and was placed under arrest. This warrant stemmed from an allegation which was reported in July of 2017 where Wootton was alleged to have engaged in sexual contact with a child under the age of 14.


On 01-15-2018 at 1:03 A.M. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of E Price. Officers made contact with Jerry Green (66 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Lamar County for assault family violence with previous convictions. Green was placed under arrest for the warrant.


On 01-15-2018 at 8:00 A.M. Officers responded to the 3800 block of Lamar Ave in regards to a shoplifter. Officers made contact with Melanie McFatridge (47 YOA female) who was found to have taken several items from the store without paying and was placed under arrest for theft. McFatridge’s charge was enhanced to theft of property <$2500 with 2 or more previous convictions after her criminal history revealed previous convictions.


On 01-15-2018 at 5:50 P.M. Officers responded to the 1200 block of Hearon in regards to a security check. Officers made contact with Douglas Fenske (45 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding warrant for motion to revoke probation. Fenske was placed under arrest for the warrant.


On 01-15-2018 at 9:08 P.M. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of SE 31st. Officers made contact with Ike Harris (39 YOA male). Harris was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant and was placed under arrest. Harris was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and several ecstasy tablets. Harris was placed under arrest for the warrant, possession of a controlled substance, and two misdemeanor charges.


On 01-15-2018 at 9:24 P.M. Officers responded to the 1600 block of NW Loop 286 in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Michelle West (44 YOA female) who was found to have two outstanding warrants for abandoning or endangering a child out of Red River County. West was placed under arrest for the warrants.


On 01-13-2018 at 7:25 P.M. Officers responded to the 2000 block of Bonham in regards to a forgery complaint. Officers were told that an unknown female suspect had attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 during a transaction. The female left the store prior to the police being contacted. The investigation is ongoing.


On 01-14-2018 at 5:49 A.M. Officers responded to the 1400 block of Clarksville in regards to a burglar alarm. Officers found that an unknown suspect had forced entry into the building. It was unknown at the time of the report if anything was taken. The investigation is ongoing.


On 01-14-2018 at 9:49 A.M. Officers responded to the 2100 block of Graham in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle complaint. Officers were told that an unknown suspect entered the complainant’s vehicle and took a .380 caliber handgun. The investigation is ongoing.


On 01-14-2018 at 3:43 P.M. Officers responded to a robbery complaint that was said to have occurred in the 2200 block of E Price. Officers were told that the complainant had been assaulted by three known suspects who took the complainant’s cellphone during the assault. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.


On 01-14-2018 at 7:30 P.M. Officers responded to the 2600 block of Kessler in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle complaint. Officers were told that an unknown suspect had entered the complainant’s vehicle and took a 9mm handgun. The investigation is ongoing.


Paris Police responded to 292 calls for service and arrested 20 persons over the four day holiday weekend ending at 6:00 A.M. on January 16, 2018.
