December 6, 2017

On 12-05-2017 at 10:47 A.M. Officers responded to the 3800 block of Lamar Ave in regards to a welfare concern. Officers made contact with Billy Foster (26 YOA male) who was placed under arrest for two misdemeanor offenses. Once at the municipal jail Foster became resistant to officers and struck one of the officers in the face with his head causing a small laceration above the officer’s eye. Foster was then charged with assaulting a public servant.


On 12-05-2017 at 11:30 A.M. Officers made contact with Bradley Scott (34 YOA male) in the 600 block of E Price in regards to a warrant arrest. Scott was found to have an outstanding warrant for burglary of a habitation and was placed under arrest. The warrant stemmed from a report made on 08-05-2017 where a television was stolen from a residence in the 400 block of NE 25th.


On 12-05-2017 at 5:00 P.M. Officers responded to the parole office in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Christopher Homsey (46 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant. Homsey was placed under arrest for the warrant.


On 12-05-2017 at 6:21 P.M. Officers responded to the 3600 block of Lamar Ave in regards to a forgery complaint. Officers were told that an unknown black female had passed counterfeit $50 bills while conducting a transaction with the business. The suspect left the store before the currency was determined to be counterfeit. The investigation is ongoing.


On 12-05-2017 at 7:22 P.M. Officers responded to the 3500 block of Lamar Ave in regards to a forgery complaint. Officers were told that the complainant had received a counterfeit $20 bill as change during a transaction the previous day. The investigation is ongoing.


Paris Police responded to 78 calls for service and arrested 8 persons over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 A.M. on December 6, 2017.
