On 12-04-2017 at 12:40 P.M. Officers made contact with Lakeisha Dennis (31 YOA female) in the 300 block of NW 19th as a result of a traffic stop. Dennis was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and two prescription drugs. Dennis was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and several misdemeanor charges.


On 12-04-2017 at 4:27 P.M. Officers responded to a complaint of credit/debit card abuse which was said to have occurred in another state. Officers were told that an unknown suspect had used the complainant’s debit card information to conduct fraudulent transactions in Tennessee. The investigation is ongoing.
On 12-04-2017 at 4:59 P.M. Officers responded to the 3000 block of S Church in regards to a recovered stolen vehicle. Officers recovered a 1998 Ford pick-up that had been previously reported stolen to the Mount Pleasant Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.


Paris Police responded to 88 calls for service and arrested 7 persons over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 A.M. on December 5, 2017.
