            After several months of investigation by Paris Police Department Investigators and Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms into drug trafficking, federal warrants were issued for the arrests of Heath Aubrey (26 YOA male), Peggy Mijares (51 YOA female), and Teresa Martinez (26 YOA female).

Officers located Aubrey in the area of Fitzhugh and Hickory at 5:01 P.M. as he was walking away from a vehicle. Aubrey was placed under arrest for two federal warrants, one for conspiracy to possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and the second for felon in possession of a firearm.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the vehicle Aubrey was walking away from and found 16 grams of crack cocaine and 28 grams of methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

Aubrey was also charged with two charges of manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance. Officers located Mijares in the 300 block of NE 10th at 7:03 P.M. and she was placed under arrest for a warrant for conspiracy to possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance.

Officers located Martinez in the area of Booker T Washington Homes at 7:53 P.M. and she was placed under arrest for a warrant for conspiracy to possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance.  (No photos were available for Aubrey, Mijares, or Martines)


           

On 08-16-2017 at 7:38 A.M. Officers responded to an assault complaint which was said to have occurred in the 2800 block of Hubbard. Officers were told that a known suspect had assaulted the complainant with a pipe. The complainant suffered minor injuries to his head, arm, and shoulder. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.  


 

Paris Police responded to 104 calls for service and arrested 8 person over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 A.M. on August 17, 2017.
