            On 08-11-2017 at 7:21 A.M. Officers responded to the 900 block of Clarksville Street in regards to a shoplifter complaint. Upon arrival Officers observed Priscilla Johnson (51 YOA female) fighting with a store employee. Officers were told that Joshnson had concealed meat products in her purse and then left the store. Johnson was said to have begun fighting with a store employee when confronted about the theft of the meat products. Johnson was placed under arrest for robbery and was later found to have several warrants which included two misdemeanor warrants, a parole violation warrant, and a warrant for possession of a controlled substance out of Lamar County. Johnson was also charged with the warrants.


 

            On 08-11-2017 at 9:09 A.M. Officers responded to a theft complaint in the 2900 block of Margaret. Officers were told that an unknown suspect had taken several rings from the complainant’s residence. The investigation is ongoing.


 

            On 08-11-2017 at 2:58 P.M. Officers responded to a theft complaint in the 2700 block of Ballard Drive. Officers were told that a possible known suspect had taken a .25 caliber handgun and several items of jewelry from her residence. The investigation is ongoing.


 

            On 08-11-2017 at 11:13 P.M. Officers responded to a robbery complaint in the 2200 block of Hubbard. Officers were told that unknown suspects had taken pizzas from a delivery person at gunpoint. The investigation is ongoing.


 

            On 08-13-2017 at 5:27 A.M. Officers responded to a fraud complaint in the 3000 block of NE Loop 286. Officers were told that a known person had passed a counterfeit $20 while conducting a transaction. The person passing the bill was still on scene and stated that he had received the bill during a transaction at another location. The investigation is ongoing.


 

            Paris Police responded to 264 calls for service and arrested 13 persons over the three day weekend ending at 6:00 A.M. on August 14, 2017.
