Galveston County Sheriff's Special Crimes detectives arrested two Dickinson residents this afternoon in connection with an ongoing investigation into illegal drug sales.
Continuing probes into narcotics activity led detectives to identify a location where they believed illicit drugs were being manufactured and sold. As a result of the Special Crimes Unit's investigative efforts, a search warrant issued by 405th Judicial District Court Judge Michelle Slaughter was served shortly after 1:00 PM today at a house in the 2100 block of Ave D in Dickinson.
Sheriff's detectives seized about 3.6 grams of cocaine and packaging items typically used in the sale of illegal narcotics. This location was within a Drug Free Zone which enhances the offense.

Jermaine Neely, 32, and his girlfriend Sonia Rodriquez, 32, arrested during the search warrant, remains jailed at the Galveston County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond each. They both were charge with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, in a Drug Free Zone, a first-degree felony.
