Constable Tim Allison

A Liberty County Constable was dicted by a Harris County Grand Jury Wednesday for an offense which occurred in November last year.

Constable Timothy (Tim) Allison appeared at a vehicle storage lot in Harris County demanding the release of his son-in-laws towed vehicle and handcuffing the employee who refused to release the vehicle. This set off an investigation by the Harris County Sheriff's Office as well as the Harris County District Attorney's Office which filed charges against him of Official Oppression.

Allison later posted a bail bond of $1,000.00 set by Criminal District Court Judge Stacey W. Bond.

Tim Allison was re-elected in 2012 after serving 14-1/2 years as Constable.
