Please pray for officer Leon Waltman (Seabrook PD).  They found a "mass"  on his brain this week,  and he is at UTMB Galveston awaiting surgery.

You may send best wishes to him on his Facebook page:

Leon, and family...you have escorted so many families to their final place of rest. You have always given us safe passage. May the hand of God lay upon you and bring you through this as you have done for so many others.

With many prayers,
Nancy Schnell

PRAYING here for the Officer GOD BLESS HIM AND HIS FAMILY!

I worked with Officer Leon Waltman in Seabrook for a brief period of time in 2000 and found him to be a unique, funny and very caring man. He is a wonderful police officer and great man!

Officer Wallman,
May God take away that tumor or make it benign where it is not any danger to your health anymore. I have taken the Citizens Police Academy--thru HPD, and you officers who each day put your life literally on the line, I am in awe of and admire. That first line has been my prayer for you, and I hope that that almighty, and all knowing God listens to my prayer for such a great officer as yourself.

Prayers are going out to Officer Leon Waltman and family. I am grateful for his choice to protect and serve. Will continue to be in prayer. Thank you so much!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I met Mr. Waltman about two years ago when I made an illegal U-turn in front of him. He walked up to my truck shaking his head and said "Today isn't your day, is it?" For some reason that made me start laughing. We both laughed. I signed my ticket and laughed on the way home. Never had that much fun getting a ticket.
