January 16, 2013 marks the anniversary of Gelareh Bagherzadeh's Murder. Gelareh's family, friends, and community have mourned the loss of such a promising young student and researcher for a year. To date, homicide investigators are still searching for her killer. Crime Stoppers has offered a $200,000 cash reward for any information that leads to the charging or arrest of the perpetrator.
At approximately 12:30 am, on Monday, January 16, 2012, Gelareh Bagherzadeh was shot outside of her home on the 800 block of Augusta.
