THE WOODLANDS, TX - A pickup truck with flashing red and blue lights, driven by a police impersonator, pulled a Woodlands woman over for speeding, say Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies.
The woman was pulled over at Glenloch at East Panther Creek about 6 a.m. Thursday when the man driving behind her turned on the flashing lights on his Toyota Tundra.
The man wore a white T-shirt and jeans. The woman didn't see any law enforcement insignia on the truck or his clothing.
She handed over her driver's license, but became suspicious when he didn't try to check the information on a radio or an in-car computer or even write down any of her drivers license information.
He returned the driver's license and told her she could leave after rudely criticizing the way she was driving , she told deputies.
She idescribed the impersonator as a 45- to 50-year-old clean-shaven man with blue eyes and a blond buzz cut.
He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.
If you know this man please call Montgomery County Crime Stoppers at 800-392-STOP (7867.)
