UPDATE: Investigation into Female Found Deceased at 5500 Pine

The death of a woman found at 5500 Pine about 12:35 a.m. on Nov. 15 has been ruled a homicide and investigators are seeking to locate the woman's husband for questioning.

The victim is identified as Abigail Christine Owens, 22. 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Garcia and Officer C. Cardenas reported:

A witness alerted HPD officers to a body found in a white pickup truck at the above address.  At this time, there are no known witnesses in this case.

Investigators are attempting to locate Ms. Owens' husband, Alan Fabricio Fernandez, 24.  He is not charged at this time and is wanted only for questioning.  

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Alan Fernandez is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
