HOUSTON - On Friday April 23rd, 2010 a house was broken into on Richmond Avenue in the Midtown area of Houston.   A laptop computer and some checks were stolen.  About a month later Darren Tornow tried to cash one of the stolen checks at a bank in the Midtown area.  In July charges of Forgery were filed against him and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

Tornow is 43 years old, 5'7" tall and weighs 150 pounds.  He has brown eyes and brown hair but he is almost bald.  Tornow is also wanted by police in Missouri and Florida but he is believed to still be in or around the Midtown area of Houston.    

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org  that leads to the arrest of Darren Karl Tornow.  Tips can also be sent by text message - Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637).  All tipsters remain anonymous.
