The Texas Police Games is an annual event conducted by Texas Police Athletic Federation, and this year the week-long event was held June 10-14 and was hosted by the City of Nassau Bay.

Events in the Games range from Archery to Volleyball. Team sports include basketball, flag football, soccer and softball. Individual sports range from Powerlifting to Track and Field.

For additional fun, there’s a bass tournament, salt water fishing, golf, dominoes and Texas Hold’em.

The silvers included the 5K run, 10K run, high jump, 800-meter run, the 200-meter run and the 1,500-meter run. The gold medal was for winning the long jump competition.
