LEAGUE CITY - A man who was responsible for the injury of several people in a multiple vehicle collision in League City several weeks ago was arrested Wednesday by Texas State Trooper Colin Lolupski and a Deputy Constable from League City Constable Jerry Fisher's Office.
Mark Steven Miller, 47, or San Leon, and another motorist was taken by LifeFlight to Houston Herman Hospital following the wreck in which investigators say he was driving East in the Westbound land of traffic on FM-646 near West Walker, crashed into two cars causing a chain reaction eventually involving six cars and sending other motorists to area hospitals by ambulance.
When Miller was released from the hospital he went to a friend's home in League City. The officers found him in the home at Kesslers Crossing at Monterello and arrested him without incident when he left there in his car.
Miller is charged with two counts of Intoxicated Assault with a Vehicle, Causing Serious Bodily Injury. He has been denied bail on both charges and is being held in the Galveston County Jail awaiting trial.
