LEAGUE CITY - Two women were flown by Life Flight air ambulance to Houston's Herman Hospital Tuesday evening following a 4-vehicle crash at FM-646 and West Walker in League City.

League City Police say when they arrived at the scene they were confronted with people trapped in cars and called nearby Dickinson Emergency Medical Services and rescue personnel to assistant them.

One of the women flown to Houston is said to be in critical condition.

The Police News will have an update to this story later today.

UPDATE:

The Investigation by League City Police indicates that Mark Allen Miller, 56, of League City was driving west in the eastbound lane in the 1600 block of FM-646, and ran the red light at the intersection of West Walker.

Miller crashed his car into one driven by Tomeikia Nicole Haynes, 32, of League City and another car driven by Shenita Graves Ramsey, 48 of Friendswood.

The collision slammed  Ramsey's car into one driven by Christine Dawn Watson, 33, of Dickinson who was sitting still at the red light. Miller and Ramsey were flown to Houston by Life Flight.  15-year old Raven Watson, riding with her mother, was taken by ambulance to St. John's  Hospital.

Haynes and two others in her car were treated at the scene by Emergency Medical Personnel.

The investigation is continuing by League City Police and State Troopers.

Comments:
Not only do I want to thank the emergency personnel, but "Five Guys" stayed open 2 hours after closing for the rescue workers and others involved to use their facilities or to have drinks. I think the guy's name was Kyle.
