PRESS RELEASE

Multiple Burglary Clearance

On Friday, February 22nd, 2013 two Galveston County Sheriff’s Department detectives, Lt. Echols and Sgt. Macik, contacted this agency with information on a suspect of multiple burglaries committed in Texas City.

21 year old Jon Michael Miranda, was in the custody of the sheriff’s department and during interviews with those detectives, admitted to committing numerous burglaries in Texas City.

Det. Macik and Lt. Echols brought Miranda to Texas City where he identified several of the residences he had broken into. Subsequent investigations by Texas City Police detectives Villarreal and Robles yielded the clearing of 16 home and business burglaries, the recovery of thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen property, the identification of two additional accomplices in these crimes as well as the clearance of two robberies.

Arrests have been made in the robberies and after conferring with the Galveston County District Attorney’s office, several more burglary charges are expected to be filed in the near future.

Charged thus far: Jon Michael Miranda (21yoa) W/M 07-05-91 - (1) Aggravated Robbery
(1) Robbery. Bail bonds total $180,000.00

Marlessa Renice Saldana (25yoa) W/F 08-11-87 - (1) Aggravated Robbery (1) Robbery.
Bail bonds total $80,000.00

Wow someone is always sticking up for this dizzy liar... maybe you should ask the old lady she handcuffed and beat the heck out of her how did she deserve what happend to her? I mean the streets talk and what this girl did to that elderly person ... I hope she likes that cell shes in and I hope they keep her in there!!!
