Neighbors say woman was like a mother to everyone in neighborhood

HOUSTON - Police are searching for a person of interest wanted in connection with a double slaying in southwest Houston.

Houston police said a woman found a man in his 40s and a woman in her 60s shot to death at a home on Bahia near Willview. An investigator said the two victims were the woman's sister and nephew.

Carlos Pomares lives on Willview Road and was devastated to discover the loss of his neighbors who he considers like family.
