Two and a half years after Hailey Dunn disappeared from her Colorado City, Texas home; her family’s search is finally over.

Police say bones found last month around a lake in Scurry County belong to Hailey, who was 13 years old when she was reported missing. Police and family members suspect Hailey’s mom’s live-in boyfriend at the time played a role in her disappearance. Adkins is the only person ever named as a person of interest but he’s never been charged.

The family’s search for Hailey may be over but the quest for answers has just begun.
