McALLEN - Families and friends gathered Monday morning at La Piedad Cemetery to bid farewell to their beloved Oscar Arellano.

Oscar Arellano died Feb. 21 after falling into a silo that contained corn byproduct at Azteca Milling in Edinburg. On the day of the accident, emergency crews drained the silo to retrieve Oscar Arellano's body.

As Viridiana Arellano, Oscar's widow, dealt with the pain of losing her best friend and partner, the family was faced with an unexpected number of calls.
