The Pasadena Police Department is currently recruiting for a Basic Police Academy. We are looking for qualified applicants seeking employment with a progressive innovative department.


U.S. Citizen. You must be at least 21years of age and less than 45 years of age.
 At the time of application, you must have a High School Diploma; If you have a G.E.D you must have 12 college hours at an accredited college/university with at least a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. You must have a valid driver's license.
 
Visual acuity must not exceed 20/100 in either eye, correctable to 20/20 with lenses. You must have normal color vision and depth perception consistent with the occupational demands of law enforcement. You will be required to submit to an eye examination by a doctor of ophthalmology or optometry.
 
Applicants must meet all legal requirements for licensing and certification as required by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education (TCLEOSE).
