Galveston Fire Department Offers CPR Certification to Public

Get the Skills to Save a Life - Become CPR Certified!

GALVESTON, TX (June 4, 2014) – Would you know what to do in a cardiac, breathing or first aid emergency? The right answer could help you save a life.

The City of Galveston’s Fire Department is hosting three Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification courses. 

WHAT: CPR Certification Course hosted by Galveston Fire Department

WHERE: Fire Station Five, 5728 Ball Street, Galveston, TX

WHEN: June 7 and 19, August 9, September 20, October 11, November 22, and December 12 from 

All courses run 9 AM – NOON

COST: $50 per person

Participants will complete a two year certification and learn how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in adults, including the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Adult and infant/child CPR options available.
