The FBI and Lake Jackson Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the gunman who took over the Guaranty Bank, located at 102-A Highway 332 West in Lake Jackson, Texas, during a hold-up on Monday, June 29, 2009.
At approximately 1:30p.m., the gunman entered the bank with a black semi-automatic pistol and ordered everyone inside to "get back" or "get down." He then jumped the counter and demanded the keys to open the teller drawers. After being provided with the keys, the gunman helped himself to the cash. After placing the money inside a backpack he brought into the bank, he exited the bank in a hurry. He was last observed running across the parking lot of the bank towards the Sears Department Store. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The gunman is described as a white male, approximately 5'8"- 5'9"tall, 160-170 pounds with a medium build. He had strawberry blonde hair which was cut in a short style with tapered sides. He wore blue jeans, a blue sweatshirt, white sneakers, a black baseball cap with a white or tan brim, white gloves, and a white surgical mask during the hold-up.
