Crime Stoppers, Investigators with the South Houston Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies are seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspect who has committed a series of Aggravated Robberies at convenience stores in South Houston.

The suspect in these cases is a 25 to 35 year old black male.  He is around 6'0" tall and weighs between 175 to 180 pounds.  He always wears a blue coverall that looks like it could be a uniform from some type of a plant.  He wears dark boots or sneakers and dark sunglasses.  He also has a gun.

He enters the convenience stores and walks around the store or will strike up a conversation with the store clerk until all the customers leave.  He then robs the store.   He is responsible for at least 3 robberies in South Houston and possibly several more in the Houston area.  The South Houston robberies occurred at the Stop N Save at 102 Allen Genoa on Wednesday September 16th at 10:45 a.m., the Papa's Food Mart at 820 Spencer on Friday September 25th at 11:37 a.m. and the Allen Genoa Food Mart at 902 S. Allen Genoa on October 2nd at 4:15 p.m.

The suspect has been captured on surveillance cameras and attached is his photo.  A car he used in one robbery was also captured on camera.  He was driving a dark red 4 door Ford Taurus possibly a 2002 model that was parked on the side of the store.  The vehicle had silver colored rims or wheel covers and dark tinted windows.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 tips hotline or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org  that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of the suspect in this case.  Tips can also be sent by text message - Text TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES (274637).  All tipsters remain anonymous.
