A 19-year-old Clute woman was taken to Brazosport Regional Health System after the car she was in was in the middle of a three-vehicle pileup, Lake Jackson Police Lt. Rick Park said.
A black Chevrolet Tahoe was driving east on Plantation Drive at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday when the driver suddenly braked, Park said. A silver 2003 Pontiac Grand Am following it also braked, but a gold 2005 Pontiac Grand Am was unable to stop, running into the back of the 2003 Grand Am, which then was pushed into the Tahoe, he said.
