NASSAU BAY - A 29-year old convicted sex offender, required by law to register annually with the police agency in the community in which he resides, has been arrested in a Nassau Bay apartment where he has lives for months without registering in that community.
Terry Andrew Ashley, also known as Andy Ashley, was last registered with Fort Bend County authorities at a Rosenberg address, however it has been over a year since he reported there. Authorities learned he had moved to Nassau Bay where he was arrested.
Nassau Bay Police say they will charge him with failing to register as a sex offender in their community and Fort Bend Authorities report they will also charge him with failure to report his relocation to Nassau Bay.
Ashely was arrested by deputies from the U.S. Marshal's Service, Galveston County Constable's Office and Nassau Bay Police.
Nassau Bay is a city of about 4,000 residents located along NASA Road One near Clear Lake and the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center.
