FRIENDSWOOD - Friendswood Police arrested Sean Watson, 26, of Heritage Park on a Harris County warrant stemming from a previous drug arrest.
Sean Watson was charged in the warrant with Retaliation, a third degree felony. He was taken into custody without incident at approximately 1:00 p.m., Friday Sept. 25 in the 16100 block of Copper Canyon. He is currently being held in the Harris County jail on no bond.
Police declined to discuss the specifics of the Retaliation charge. However, the charge is the result of Watson's actions following his arrest August 20 on two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a felon. The two narcotics charges held $1,000 bond each. Watson was transferred to Harris County in that case with no bond on the firearms charge.
He was subsequently granted a $5,000 bond on the firearms charge by the Harris County courts and was released from jail on August 21. Police are at a loss to explain why the previously convicted felon was allowed a bond on the firearms charge.
