On Saturday, June 20, 2009 Fort Bend County Deputies responded to a reported robbery of the Fresno Grocery, 3503 F.M. 521, Fresno, Fort Bend County at approximately 8:11 a.m. followed by a second robbery at Fresno Food Mart, 4327 F.M. 521, Fresno, Fort Bend County, which occurred at approximately 5:35 p.m. 

In both robberies the suspect entered the store armed with a knife.  He placed the store clerks in a headlock with a knife held to their throat and ordered them to open the cash register.  In each case, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers and then fled in a grey or gold mid-size SUV.

The suspect is described as a white male, slender build, brown hair with mustache, approximately 6'00 tall.  In both cases he was wearing a khaki shirt, blue jean shorts, and sunglasses.  During one robbery he wore a khaki boonie and the other a ball cap.

Fort Bend and Missouri City Detectives believe the same individual is suspected of robbing the Valero Station, 2975 Texas Parkway, Missouri City, on June 20, 2009 at approximately 4:40 a.m. and the Shell Station, 7118 Hwy 6, Missouri City on June 21, 2009 at approximately 9:00 p.m.   

The clerk at the Shell Station was stabbed by the suspect and was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Fort Bend Detectives are working together with Det. R. Terry of the Missouri City Police Department and are asking anyone that may have information regarding these crimes or information that could lead to the identification and/or whereabouts of this suspect to contact the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office at (281) 341-4665 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS.
