HITCHCOCK - Four people, including a critically injured woman, were taken to hospitals, and state Highway 6 was closed for more than two hours Thursday after an automobile collision, authorities said.

A state trooper arrived at Highland Drive about 4 p.m. and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on one of the drivers, Hitchcock Fire Chief Mark Cook said.
