An experimental Bakeng Deuce aircraft crashed in Chambers County early Wednesday morning.
Sgt. Dana Cothren of the Wallisville Highway Patrol office said the pilot, 64-year-old Houston resident Michael Herman Rountree, was able to get out of the plane on his own, but complained of back pain.
