Theft

   May 31 (6:54 p.m.) - Calvin Clemmons, 53, of Houston was charged with Theft.  Clemmons was observed taking two cases of beer from the Valero, 700 W. Parkwood, without paying for them.  A witness provided officers with a vehicle description and Clemmons was located in the 300 block of W. Edgewood.  The charge was enhanced to a state jail felony because of previous convictions.

   May 27 (10:48 a.m.) - A resident of the 1500 block of Frontier reported the theft of a wallet.  The victim is not sure where or when the wallet was taken.  When the victim realized the theft, she contacted her credit card companies and learned that someone had attempted to use the cards twice in the previous several days.

   May 24 (5:26 p.m.) - Jason Brock, 24, of Friendswood was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.  Brock was charged after he stole a vehicle from outside a Friendswood business in the 300 block of S. Friendswood Drive on May 19.  Brock told police that he had driven the car to Kentucky and left it there.

   May 24 (10:07 a.m.) - A utility trailer was reported stolen from a construction site in the 1600 block of W. Parkwood.  The trailer was taken sometime over the weekend.

Driving While Intoxicated

   May 31 (11:50 p.m.) - Henry Charanza, 60, of Friendswood was charged with DWI.  Charanza was stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of Brigadoon.  He failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.

   May 31 (2:54 a.m.) - Glenda Sullivan, 67, of Pearland was charged with DWI.  Sullivan was observed stopping in the middle of the intersection in the 100 block of S. Friendswood Drive.  She failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test. 

   May 30 (1:10 a.m.) - James Allfrey, 17, of Friendswood was charged with DUIABM.  Allfrey was stopped for a traffic violation and found to display signs of intoxication.

   May 30 (2:58 a.m.) - Jackie Page, 26, of Alvin was charged with DWI.  Page was stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of E. Parkwood.  He failed a field sobriety test and registered .151 on a breath test. 

 
   May 29 (3:20 a.m.) - Richard Smith, 20, of Houston was charged with DWI and Resisting Arrest.  Smith was found asleep in his vehicle, stopped in a moving lane of traffic on Falling Leaf at Greenbriar.  He failed a field sobriety test and refused to submit to a breath test.  He resisted officers' attempts to get into the patrol car.  The officer eventually had to push Smith into the car. 

   May 26 (10:57 p.m.) - Jonathan Tobias, 36, of League City was charged with DWI after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a vehicle at the intersection of W. Bay Area Blvd at FM 528.  The second vehicle then crashed into a third vehicle.  Tobias refused to participate in any testing.  One driver from the crash was transported to an area hospital for treatment of possible injuries.

   May 25 (6:31 a.m.) - Eugene Allen, 19, of Friendswood was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a minor.  Allen was stopped by police investigating a report of a suspicious person in the drive-thru of Whataburger, 214 E. Parkwood.  He displayed signs of intoxication and due to being underage was charged with DUIABM.

Narcotics

   May 30 (2:37 a.m.) - Corey Collins, 20, of Webster was charged with Possession of Marijuana.  Collins was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 1400 block of S. Friendswood Drive.  During the stop, the officer observed two small bags of marijuana outside the vehicle.  Collins admitted to tossing the bags out of the window.

   May 29 (4:12 p.m.) - Donald Warren, 32, of Houston was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Warren was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 3100 block of FM 528.  During the stop, officers found Warren to be in possession of methamphetamine powder, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Kimberly Beetz, 36, of Friendswood was charged with Possession of Marijuana.  Laura Austin, 35, of Clear Lake was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

   May 25 (10:40 p.m.) - John Warner was charged with Possession of Marijuana.  Warner was stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of W. Edgewood.  He admitted to being in possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

   May 23 (3:06 p.m.) - Sabrina Cammack, 30, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.  Cammack was stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of Whispering Pines Drive.  She allowed officers to search the vehicle.  Officers found marijuana and Propoxyphene Acetaminophen.  Cammack did not have a prescription for the pain reliever.  A passenger in the car was also taken into custody for an outstanding Guadalupe County warrant.
   May 22 (6:08 p.m.) - Clint Pribyl, 30, of Friendswood was charged with Falsification of a Drug Test, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.  Pribyl was observed sleeping in his car in the parking lot of the Kwik Shop, 3161 FM 528.  He was found to be in possession of a spiked brass knuckle device.  During a search incident to arrest officers found Pribyl to be in possession of a synthetic urine kit, syringes and a spoon used to hold methamphetamine.

Burglary

   May 23 (7:20 a.m.) - Two vehicles were burglarized in the area of the Heritage Oaks subdivision.  Watches and cash were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Colonial.  A briefcase, Ipod and cash were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 400 block of S. Shadowbend. 

Assault

   May 29 (5:06 p.m.) - Christopher Medina, 17, of Brazoria County was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Terroristic Threat.  Medina was involved in a physical altercation with another customer at Whataburger, 106 N. Friendswood Drive.  He fled the scene.  He was recognized by an employee of the restaurant as a recent applicant.  Medina was located by Brazoria County deputies at an address he provided on his job application. 

     May 27 (9:01 p.m.) - Two people were arrested following a disturbance in the 16400 block of Hibiscus.  Sonia Habel, 36, of League City was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury.  Officers found Habel at her residence in League City following the incident.  While attempting to take Habel into custody another resident of the house, Karey Dotson, 35, attempted to keep the officer from arresting Habel.  Dotson pulled on Habel to get her away from the officer and tried to lock the door so that the officer could not escort Habel to the patrol car.  Dotson was charged with Interfering with the Duties of a Public Servant.

   May 21 (2:26 p.m.) - Joshua Millet, 18, of Friendswood was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury.  Millet was involved in an altercation with another person in the 800 block of Sunset Dr.  The argument was over the alleged theft of a cell phone.

Vandalism

   May 27 (8:07 a.m.) - A mailbox was reported damaged in the 16100 block of Tibet Rd.

Domestic Violence

   May 31 (8:20 p.m.) - William McGlinchey, 54, of Friendswood was charged with Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury - Family Violence.  McGlinchey was involved in a physical argument with his wife in the 5200 block of Appleblossom. 

Miscellaneous

   May 28 (12:13 a.m.) - Steven Carpenter, 23, of Galveston was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.  Carpenter was stopped for a traffic violation in the 15400 block of Blackhawk.  During the stop, the officer observed a handgun in the car.

   May 26 (4:38 p.m.) - Juan Cutz-Pelico, 19, of Webster was charged with Falsifying a Government Document, No Driver's License and No Proof of Insurance.  Cutz-Pelico was stopped in the 700 block of W. Parkwood when a check of the license plate on the car he was driving indicated that the license plate was stolen.  The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office indicated that the license plate was obtained by fraudulent means. 

   May 23 (4:05 a.m.) - Kyle Samson, 17, of Friendswood was arrested for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.  Officers responded to a report of juveniles drinking in the 900 block of Coward's Creek.  Officers found Samson and several people under the age of 18 outside the residence displaying signs of intoxication.  Officers also found numerous bottles and cans of alcohol in the kitchen of the house.  Samson admitted to having the alcohol without his parents' permission.

Fraud/Identity Theft

   May 28 - Victim reports the unauthorized use of her Visa credit union card to make purchases at Dallas retailers.

   May 28 - Victim reported someone creating fake checks using her credit union account information to make purchases.

   May 27 - Victim reported losing a Visa card which was subsequently used in League City and Houston.

   May 26 - Victim reported someone passing checks in San Antonio using her deceased mother's information.
