MANVEL, Texas - A motorcycle, which witnesses say was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic, crashed into a Chevrolet Surburban traveling in the same direction on SH-6 Saturday, resulting in the rider being flown to UTMB Hospital in critical condition.
Galveston County Sheriff's Lt. Randy Burrows said motorcycle rider, a Manvel man, was ejected from the bike and thrown over 100 feet from the point of impact.
The crash occurred on State Highway 6 near Algoa-Friendswood Road.
The injured man's name was not released by Burrows.
