HITCHCOCK, Texas - Saturday August 8, 2009 from 8:00am until 5:00pm the Hitchcock Police Department and the Hitchcock Volunteer Fire Department will be accepting school supply donations in the parking lot of Baywood Foods at Highway 6 and Fm 519.

All donations will go to benefit the students of the Hitchcock Independent School District. Hitchcock students are in need of pencils, paper, box crayons, pocket folders, glue sticks and much more. A complete list of items can be found on the Hitchcock ISD website. www.HITCHCOCKISD.org

If you are unable to come on August 8, 2009 you will still be able to drop off school supplies in the lobby of the Hitchcock Police Department, 6815 2nd Street, Hitchcock, from August 8-20, 2009.
