SAN LEON - A man was hospitalized early Saturday morning after taking a shotgun blast to his leg, Maj. Ray Tuttoilmondo, a Galveston County Sheriff's Office spokesman, said.

Investigators said the victim was riding with friends on East Bayshore Drive in San Leon when a passenger in a passing car fired a shot into the victim's car, Tuttoilmondo said.
