Two Lake Jackson men were charged with possession of a controlled substance after police say they found 285 grams of illegal mushrooms inside their vehicle following a traffic stop for erratic driving, Clute Police Sgt. Christopher Smoot said.

Joshua Ryan Dowdican, 17, and Samuel Casey Miller, 20, were both taken to the Clute jail Friday at about 10 p.m.
