Police arrested a Cleveland Middle School teacher in Conroe on Wednesday on a warrant for sexual assault of a child.
Kimberly Grace Sinclair, 25 was taken into custody and transported to the Cleveland Police Department and later transferred to the Liberty County Jail in Liberty where bond is set at $110,000.
According to a statement from Cleveland Police Chief Mark Bradshaw, on Oct. 12 his agency received information about Sinclair's alleged admission of an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student.
Sinclair agreed to go to the Cleveland Police Department the next day and make a voluntary statement, but failed to do so, Bradshaw stated.
On Oct. 15, a warrant was issued for Sinclair's arrest on the second-degree felony charge of sexual assault of a child. That warrant was served on Wednesday.
Bradshaw said his agency received assistance from the US Marshal's Office, Houston; Gulf Coast Violent Offender and Fugitive Task Force; and Montgomery County Sheriff's Office SWAT.
