HOUSTON -- The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the man who robbed the Compass Bank, at 9669 Katy Freeway in Hedwig Village tuesday.
At 11:27a.m., the robber entered the bank and pulled out a silver semi-automatic handgun as he approached a teller. When he got to the teller station, he demanded cash and then cocked his handgun. After getting the cash, the robber left the bank and was last seen leaving the area on foot. No one was injured during the robbery. The bank's surveillance equipment captured a couple of pictures of the robber.
The robber is a Hispanic, approximately 25-30, 5'7" - 5'9" tall, and about 250-280 pounds. He wore dark sunglasses, a black baseball cap, a blue work shirt, and dark colored pants.
