HOUSTON -- A police chase came to a crashing end in northwest Harris County overnight.
Authorities say the chase started when an officer was trying to pull over the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence near the Aldine-Bender area.

Police say the driver was trying to get away from officers and went through a red light. He wound up smashing the vehicle he was driving underneath a big rig carrying frozen chickens near Veterans Memorial and Antoine.
