HITCHCOCK - A motorcyclist attempting to pass an automobile died after colliding head-on with an oncoming sport utility vehicle, authorities said Monday.

James Raybon, 32, of Hitchcock, was traveling north on FM 2004 at 1:47 p.m. Saturday, when he tried to pass a car in a curve near Tacquard Ranch Road, John Florence, Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office spokesman, said.
